Welcome!

I've finally decided that I am a writer - all the other things I do just pay the bills. Someone eloquent once said that if you do what you love, the money will follow. Well, let's just see about that.

RIP Aggie

RIP Aggie
Aggie was my fifteen-year-old cairn terrier - or maybe I should say I was her 55-year-old person! She was my faithful companion, spoiled rotten and I am still trying to figure out what to do without her.

Peter the Cat...

Peter the Cat...
This is Peter the gingersnap tabby! He's seven years old and has just been promoted to Peter the Very, Very Good. He is working his way up to Peter the Great...

Bee - the Cat Who Came From Somewhere Else...

Bee - the Cat Who Came From Somewhere Else...
Bee is Peter's buddy. He's eight years old and has made himself right at home. I guess cats really do come in pairs or sets of three!

And Jasper makes three!

And Jasper makes three!
Jasper is our new guy - the Cat From Another Place. He's four years old and we think he likes it here - so far, so good!

ME Monday...

Believe it or not, I'm running low on things to share for ME Monday!  Or at least my brain is running low on what it takes to remember what ME stuff I have around here - that's probably it.  Anyhow, these three prints are some of my favorites.  I got them a long time ago on eBay for really cheap - and I loved the little story they tell.  The top one says, "Open it! Open it!" and it's a little boy giving a girl his heart.  The middle one says, "And I said yes!  Yes!"  The bottom one says, "Grow old with me - the best is yet to be."  What can I say?
I still love them, even if I am living happily ever after alone.
Mary Engelbreit - guaranteed to make you smile.

  1. Very cute Dawn...I have "Open It..Open It" in a tin but I've never seen it in a print. I've always loved the "Grow Old with Me", too...sigh :(

  2. Dawn, I do like the way you hung these to relate to each other and tell a sweet story. I have the Open It tin and love the "Grow Old with Me". I need to find that one. I may have it on a old calendar. Need to look. ;-)
Thanks for sharing these. ~ Sarah
