how Oliver & Lisa Douglas supported themselves after they sold the farm on Green Acres, they took Lisa's recipe for hotcakes - the ones that absorbed everything you put on them just like their house absorbed paint - and sold it to the Aunt Jemima people for their frozen homestyle pancakes.
Okay, so they were buy one get one free at Publix, which made them really cheap, but these things are amazingly absorbent. The butter and syrup I put on them disappeared - and they were still chewy and so dry I had to wash them down with Diet Coke. Aggie even chewed and chewed, which should tell you something right there. I half expected Eb to come ambling through the door and join us.
That is AMAZING! And I so agree! Food....processed food...is so amazing.....and NOT in a good way! Tonight we had home grown squash and tomatoes....beef and potatoes and carrots. All good and wholesome FOOD! I suggest you try the local Farmer's Market!
