I've finally decided that I am a writer - all the other things I do just pay the bills. Someone eloquent once said that if you do what you love, the money will follow. Well, let's just see about that.

Aggie was my fifteen-year-old cairn terrier - or maybe I should say I was her 55-year-old person! She was my faithful companion, spoiled rotten and I am still trying to figure out what to do without her.

Bee is Peter's buddy. He's eight years old and has made himself right at home. I guess cats really do come in pairs or sets of three!

We Three Kings...

of Orient are, bearing spiced tea from Arkansas far...  Sorry - I get a little carried away with Christmas carols - and that one in particular lends itself well to alternative lyrics.  Like all of us haven't been singing about exploding cigars since we were kids...  Isn't that the cutest little jar you have ever seen?  I got the nicest surprise package in the mail yesterday from my friend, Erin, in Arkansas and inside was this lovely Mary Engelbreit Christmas card and this adorable jar of spiced tea mix.  She even shared her recipe with me!  There's just something about the postman knocking on your door on a blustery day that says Christmas.  Thanks, Erin!
