If you like writers who develop characters in the style of Maeve Binchy and you love to cook, then this book is for you. The writer's style is very similar to Binchy's - mainly the way her characters interact and how their stories become entwined - and it's very lyrically written. It made me want to put the book down and cook something. Well, almost. I had to finish reading the book first.
